Director : Pete Parsons
Released : 1980
County : United Kingdom

When I started to watch this, I made a comment to my brother about the Animation. I know it was not from America because the Animation and Design just didn’t match up. It looked more like the Cartoons I’ve seen from Canada! I never thought that it was from the UK! But I was happy that I could tell the difference in the Animation style. =D It is always fun to see different styles.

Well, to talk about this Story that Pete wrote, I’ll have to really keep an open mind on his OVA approach of Santa. I say this just to give you a heads up.

OK, on with the review.

This is a fun story for Christmas. We start at the North Pole and Meet the

Elves

Then we get to meet Santa’s Dog

Ruffles

Then We meet his one Reindeer

Garibaldi (With Santa)

This is where it gets weird… I thought that the English had the same beliefs as the Americans! But for the Humor of the Story, it works.

Then we meet

Sam

This boy doesn’t listen to his mom. He snicks out of bed to meet Santa. When Santa comes, he snicks into Santa’s Sack and goes with Santa to his home! Santa and his Friends have their Christmas Party with Sam. When it comes to the Gift giving, Sam is left with nothing. His is at his home. Santa then thinks quick and gives him his Pocket Watch.

When Sam wakes up, his wonders if it was a dream! Then he pulls out the Pocket Watch and Smiles.

Great Job Pete on a Christmas story!! I think it gives us one more fun story to tell. I think this cartoon is one more for the family to see on Christmas.
