The BBC Micro or The BBC Microcomputer System is a Microcomputer designed by Acorn. They were trying out for the BBC Computer Literacy Project. BBC wanted to make a Microcomputer that was just like a TV show. After they saw a couple that didn’t do what they wanted, Acorn stepped up to the plate. BBC Liked what they saw and now we have the BBC Micro.
The Power that this little guy had was really good. The games didn’t look to bad and it had tons of things that the British education system was looking for. Now that schools could have a neat little PC from themselves.
For 5 years this little guy stayed a float and then sank in 1986. The Commodore 64 Had claimed one more victim.
