The ColecoVision is one of my Favorite Systems to play! Even more so then Atari 2600. I’ve always loved to crisp graphics and the great game play!!!! This had Nintendo and Sega games on it! In fact, Nintendo was the reason that the ColecoVision went through the roof!!
Coleco and Nintendo Made a Bundle with the ColecoVision and Donkey Kong. This put the sales right off the charts! They also released Add – Ons for the system, too. They had an Atari 2600 adapter that would allow you to play Atari 2600 games on your ColecoVision!!! Of course, Atari was not happy about this. They tried to sue them, but lost the case.
Unfortunately, The ColecoVision couldn’t survive the Crash, and died. It did leave a HUGE note in Video Game History. In it’s life, it sold over six millions unites in just 3 years!!!! The ColecoVision is one worth having just to play!!!
